Perlite enclosed hollow spheres are discreet bubbles containing a multi-cellular core. They are produced under our stringent quality-controlled standards to guarantee consistency. We make these microsphere perlites with special surface treatments to provide additional benefits for specific uses. At Silbrico, we have developed an exclusive line for these grades of perlites. Learn more about Sil-Cell below.

This ultra-fine perlite is similar in size to microsphere perlite but is made by milling and classifying expanded perlite under our stringent quality-controlled conditions to create particles with jagged interlocking structures. Of course, with our Silbrico standards, consistency is always guaranteed. Our product line for this grade of perlite is Sil-Kleer.

At Silbrico, we refer to these industrial perlite grades as macroparticles. Coarser grades are clusters of glass bubbles containing a multi-cellular core, offering many industrial benefits like being lightweight and insulating. We apply non-flammable water repellent treatment to certain grades, which significantly improves the water repellent properties of perlite. Ryolex is our line of macroparticles.
